Adjust valve clearances with engine cold.
1.
Set No. 1 cylinder to TDC of compression stroke as follows:
a. Turn crankshaft pulley and align groove with ``0'' mark on No. 1 timing belt cover.
b. Ensure valve lifters on No. 1 cylinder are loose and valve lifters on No. 4 cylinder are tight.
