Front Door Window Regulator: Service and Repair
Removal

WINDOW / GLASS: POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR (for Front Door): REMOVAL

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL   See: Service and Repair/Disassembly

3. REMOVE FRONT ARMREST UPPER BASE PANEL   See: Service and Repair/Disassembly

4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Service and Repair/Disassembly

5. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Service and Repair/Disassembly

6. REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH (w/o Front No. 2 Speaker)   See: Service and Repair/Disassembly

7. REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH (w/ Front No. 2 Speaker)   See: Service and Repair/Disassembly

8. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INNER GLASS WEATHERSTRIP   See: Service and Repair/Disassembly

9. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER (w/o Power Door Lock)   See: Service and Repair/Disassembly

10. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER (w/ Power Door Lock)   See: Service and Repair/Disassembly

11. REMOVE FRONT DOOR GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Service and Repair/Disassembly

12. REMOVE FRONT DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Service and Repair/Disassembly

13. REMOVE FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Using a "TORX" driver (T25), remove the 3 screws and the front power window regulator motor assembly.
