Disconnect throttle cable from cam, Fig. 6, and remove valve body.

Installation

1.

Push throttle cable fitting into cam, position valve body with manual valve aligned with manual lever and loosely install several retaining bolts to
hold valve body. Valve body retaining bolts are of different lengths, and must be properly positioned to avoid transmission damage.
Proper position is shown in Figs. 7 and 8. Bolt lengths are given in millimeters.

Remove accumulator piston retaining plate, install remaining valve body bolts and tighten all bolts hand tight.

3.

Evenly torque valve body bolts to 84 inch lbs. (7 ft. lbs.).

4.

Ensure oil strainer is clean, install strainer using a new gasket and torque retaining bolts to 48 inch lbs.

5.

Press oil feed tubes into position by hand, if equipped.

6.

Install oil pan using a new gasket, evenly torque pan bolts to 48 inch lbs., and install filler tube retaining bolts, if equipped.
