Throttle Position Sensor: Adjustments
TPS Retaining Screws
1.
Loosen TPS retaining screws.
TPS Adjustment
2.
Insert a .0325 in (0.83 mm) thickness gauge between throttle stop screw and lever.
3.
Connect an ohmmeter between terminals IDL and E2.
TPS Rotation
4.
Gradually turn the sensor clockwise until the ohmmeter deflects.
TPS Retaining Screws
5.
Tighten TPS retaining screws.
