Becareful not to damage the oil seal, drive shaft boot and speed sensor rotor (W/ABS).

10. REMOVE SHOCK ABSORBER WITH COIL SPRING

a. Using a jack support the shock absorber as shown in the illustration.

b. Remove the three nuts on upper side of the shock absorber.
c. Lower the jack and remove the shock absorber.

11. REMOVE COIL SPRING

a. Using SST, compress the coil spring. SST 09727-30020

b. Install a bolt and two nuts to the bracket at the lower portion of the shock absorber and secure it in a vise.
