Replacement
Front Propeller Shaft
FRONT PROPELLER SHAFT REMOVAL
1. Remove front propeller shaft.
a. Place the matchmarks on the front differential and propeller shaft flanges.
b. Remove the 4 bolts, washers and nuts, disconnect the propeller shaft from the differential.
Torque: 42 N.m (31 ft. lbs.)
c. Remove the 2 bolts and center support bearing.
Torque: 36 N.m (27 ft. lbs.)
d. Pull out the propeller shaft yoke from the transfer.
e. Insert Special Service Tool (SST) 09325 - 20010 or equivalent, in the transfer to prevent oil leakage.
