NOTE:

Make sure the alignment marks line up.

Do not damage the seal of the propeller shaft tube with the centering pin.

Using the old nuts and bolts, tighten the flexible coupling to the coupling flange, engaging the collars, then remove the bolts.

Torque: 15 Nm (150 kgf cm, 11 ft lbs)

NOTE:

Insert the bolts on the flexible coupling side, and tighten the nuts

^

on the propeller shaft tube side.

^

When fastening to the crank shaft, use new nuts and bolts, then torque to 33 Nm (340 kgf cm, 25 ft lbs).

Do not deform the rubber bushing of the flexible coupling by twisting.

7.

Install the new front flexible coupling.

Connect the new flexible coupling to the shaft.
