48. CONNECT SHOCK ABSORBER ASSY REAR LH
49. CONNECT SHOCK ABSORBER ASSY REAR RH

HINT:  Connect the RH side by the same procedures as the LH side.

50. INSTALL BRAKE BACKING PLATE SUB-ASSY REAR LH (DRUM REAR BRAKE TYPE)

a. Install the 2 rear axle bearing retainer inner LH and parking brake plate sub-assy LH.

51. INSTALL BRAKE BACKING PLATE SUB-ASSY REAR RH (DRUM REAR BRAKE TYPE)

HINT:  Install the RH side by the same procedures as the LH side.

52. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE PLATE SUB-ASSY LH (DISC REAR BRAKE TYPE)

a. 2WD DRIVE TYPE: Install the 2 rear axle bearing retainer inner LH and parking brake plate sub-assy LH to the rear axle beam assy.
b. 4WD DRIVE TYPE: Install the rear axle bearing retainer outer and parking brake plate sub-assy LH to the rear axle beam assy.

53. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE PLATE SUB-ASSY RH (DISC REAR BRAKE TYPE)

HINT:  Install the RH side by the same procedures as the LH side.

54. INSTALL REAR AXLE HUB & BEARING ASSY LH (2WD DRIVE TYPE)
55. INSTALL REAR AXLE HUB & BEARING ASSY RH (2WD DRIVE TYPE)

HINT:  Install the RH side by the same procedures as the LH side.

56. INSTALL REAR AXLE HUB & BEARING ASSY LH (4WD DRIVE TYPE)
57. INSTALL REAR AXLE HUB & BEARING ASSY RH (4WD DRIVE TYPE)

HINT:  Install the RH side by the same procedures as the LH side.

58. INSTALL REAR BRAKE DRUM SUB-ASSY (DRUM REAR BRAKE TYPE)
59. INSTALL REAR DISC (DISC REAR BRAKE TYPE)
60. INSTALL REAR DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSY LH (DISC REAR BRAKE TYPE)

a. Install the 2 bolts and rear disc brake caliper assy LH to the rear axle beam assy.

Torque: 88 Nm (897 kgf-cm, 65 ft. lbs.) 

61. INSTALL REAR DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSY RH (DISC REAR BRAKE TYPE)

HINT:  Install the RH side by the same procedures as the LH side.

62. CONNECT REAR BRAKE TUBE NO.2 

SST 09023-00100

63. CONNECT REAR BRAKE TUBE NO.1

SST 09023-00100

HINT:  Connect the RH side by the same procedures as the LH side.

64. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSY NO.3
65. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSY NO.2

HINT:  Install the RH side by the same procedures as the LH side.

66. INSTALL DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER ASSY REAR (4WD DRIVE TYPE)
67. INSTALL REAR DRIVE SHAFT ASSY LH (4WD DRIVE TYPE)
68. INSTALL REAR DRIVE SHAFT ASSY RH (4WD DRIVE TYPE)

HINT:  Install the RH side by the same procedures as the LH side.

69. INSTALL REAR AXLE SHAFT LH NUT (4WD DRIVE TYPE) 
70. INSTALL REAR AXLE SHAFT RH NUT (4WD DRIVE TYPE)

HINT:  Install the RH side by the same procedures as the LH side.

71. INSTALL PROPELLER W/CENTER BEARING SHAFT ASSY (4WD DRIVE TYPE)
72. CONNECT SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE (2WD DRIVE TYPE) 

HINT:  Connect the RH side by the same procedures as the LH side.
