Wheel Speed Sensor: Service and Repair
Rear
REAR SPEED SENSOR REMOVAL
1. DISCONNECT SPEED SENSOR CONNECTOR
2. REMOVE SPEED SENSOR
(a) Remove the clamp bolt, the clamp nut and the 5 clips holding the sensor wire harness from the axle and the fuel tank.
HINT:

In installing the rear sensor wire harness, never use the removed resin clips, resin clips are service parts.

When replacing clips, set up new resin clips at the same angle of removed resin clips.

When removing a resin clip, take care so that the removing tool is not caught on the grommet or wire.
Torque: 13 N.m (130 kgf.cm, 9 ft.lbf)
(b) Remove the speed sensor from the axle carrier. Torque: 8 N.m (80 kgf.cm, 69 in..lbf)
REAR SPEED SENSOR INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

SYSTEM" Section.
