19. Turn the crankshaft pulley and align it's groove with timing mark "0" of the No.1 timing belt cover as shown.

20. Check that the timing marks of the camshaft timing pulleys and No.3 timing belt cover are aligned. If not, turn the crankshaft pulley on full

revolution (360°).

21. Alternately loosen the two bolts and remove the timing belt tensioner and dust boot.

22. Remove the two mount bolts, nut, fan bracket and gasket.

23. Using SST # 09278-54012 or equivalent spanner wrench, turn the LH camshaft pulley clockwise to loosen the tension spring between the camshaft

pulleys.
