Applicability

Introduction

Some 2005-2010 model year Tacoma vehicles may exhibit a tick/click noise from the blower motor. The procedure in this bulletin has been developed to
improve this condition.

Production Change Information

Vehicle Applicability:

All 2005-2010 model year Tacoma vehicles produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective VINs shown below install the Blower Motor Tick
Click sound insulation kit and if the blower motor was not updated per SB T-SB-0380-09, "Blower Motor Squeal Noise at Low Ambient Temperatures"
then install an updated blower motor.

For 2010 model year Tacoma vehicles produced AFTER the Production Change Effective VINs shown below install the Blower Motor Tick Click sound
insulation kit.

Parts Information

Part number 87103-04041 (Blower Motor) should only be ordered if the vehicle was built BEFORE the Production Change VINs shown above and the
blower motor was not updated per SB T-SB-0380-09, "Blower Motor Squeal Noise at Low Ambient Temperatures".
