CRITICAL:

Make sure to adjust running board to correct position to prevent squeaking, or other noise, from occurring. The step pad extension should not be
wedged beneath the bed fender panel.

Center Bracket Assembly:

A.

Slide Carriage Bolt (21) through the hole in the frame (figure 8).

B.

Position the Bridging Bracket (13) on bolt (21), making sure that the bottom of the bracket is flush with the bottom of the frame, and install
nut (24) finger tight (do not fully tighten at this time).

C.

Complete installation as shown in figure 8.

(18) 3/8 x 1-1/2 LG. Carriage Bolt.
Torque: 30 ft. lbf
40.6 N-m

(21) 3/8 x 5-1/2 Carriage Bolt.
Torque: 38 ft. lbf
51.5 N-m

Rear Bracket Assembly:

A.

Support arm (4) can be assembled finger tight before or after installation to the frame. Do not tighten at this time.
