End Cap Installation:

1.

Place appropriate end cap (10) or (11) on top of running board, locating inside screw with the end cap insert and screwing in the first
couple threads. Repeat with second screw.

2.

If the truck does not have chrome trim around the wheel well, push end caps to the inside end of the screw slots.

3.

If the truck does have chrome trim around the wheel well, pull end caps to the outside end of the screw slots.

4.

Screw both screws in until bottoming and tighten firmly.

5.

Running Board Installation:

A.

Place eight 1/4-20 x 3/4 Hex bolts (17) into slots and position as shown in figure 10.

B.

Install running board and front support bracket (14) onto supports (4), with the eight 1/4-20 Tensilocknuts (22) loose, do not tighten at this
time.

(17) 1/4-20 x 3/4 Hex Bolt.
Torque: 7 ft-lbf
9.5 N-m

6.

Running Board Positioning:

A.

Ensure that the vertical adjusting bolts on the supports are finger tight without restricting adjustment and that the step pad attachment nuts
(22) are snug, but do not restrict front to back adjustment.

B.

Starting at one end of the running board, position it so that the end cap rests vertical with its inner profile matching the vehicles profile and...

For WITH chrome trim: snugging around the chrome trim.
