This repair is covered under the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from
the vehicle's in-service date.

* Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.

Required Tools & Material

Repair Procedure

The rear bracket location on all Tacoma models has not changed. Brackets are still installed to the vehicle in the same method as demonstrated in the
Product Installation Sheet. The ONLY change is the discontinued use of the two (2) nut plates.

Installation of Flange Nuts.

1.

Station the Tube Step rear mounting brackets in place with the 8 mm hex bolts that have the lock washer and flat washer already slipped on as
shown.

2.

Using a 13 mm wrench, nest and locate an 8 mm flange nut into position. Hold the nut in place with the wrench, while tightening up the 8 mm bolt,
