Tundra 2WD V6-4.0L (1GR-FE) (2005)
2. REPLACE THE RIGHT REAR BRAKE HOSE (ONLY IF NECESSARY)
(a) Disconnect the upper and lower brake lines from the right rear brake hose.
(b) Remove the upper and lower C-clips located on the flex line brackets.
(c) Remove the damaged brake hose.
(d) Install a new brake hose.
(e) Reinstall the upper and lower C-clips located on the flex line brackets.
(f) Reconnect the upper and lower brake lines, and torque them to the specification.
Torque Specification:
15 N.m (155 kgf.cm, 11 ft.lbf)
(g) Bleed the brake system. Refer to the appropriate repair manual section the procedure.
NOTE:
Immediately wash off any brake fluid that may have spilled onto painted surfaces.
D. UPDATED DUAL EXHAUST SYSTEM INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL THE MUFFLER
(a) Install a new V-band clamp exhaust pipe gasket.
(b) Install the muffler with the rear end first, and then reinsert the muffler support brackets into the rubber exhaust hangers.
