Immobiliser    Quick Check F5:ACTUATOR TEST

IMMO. RELAY

Conditions for Checking

Nominal Value

Affected terminals:               3

Possible trouble codes:        21, 22

Note:

This test can always be selected in TECH 1, but the TECH 1 display can only be applied if the vehicle is equipped with an immobiliser relay. At the time of publication of this brochure, the above component is not installed in the vehicle. If it is installed at a later date, this will be announced in a publication to this effect (Technical Information Bulletin "TI", Checking Procedures, Circuit Diagram). If the test is carried out on a vehicle without this component, the TECH 1 display nevertheless functions correctly (TECH 1 merely indicates that the control unit has issued an actuation signal for the relay, not the status of the relay itself).
