Brake Disc – Front Wheel Brake, Remove and
Install (Steering Knuckle with Integrated Brake Carrier)
Note: In general,
always replace both brake discs on one axle.
 Remove
Remove front wheels.
Remove brake linings – see operation "Brake Linings
– Front Wheel Brake, Remove and Install (Steering Knuckle
with Integrated Brake Carrier)".

Unscrew locking screw (1) and remove brake disc.
 Clean
Clean mating surfaces between brake disc and wheel hub.
Caution
Ensure that the contact surfaces are plane and free from
burrs.

Install
Mount brake disc on front wheel hub. Attach locking bolt –
tightening torque 7 Nm / 5 lbf. ft.
Install brake linings – see operation "Brake Linings
– Front Wheel Brake, Remove and Install (Steering Knuckle
with Integrated Brake Carrier)".
Connect front wheel – 110 Nm / 81 lbf. ft.
