Detach coolant hose (1) from thermostat (thermostat
housing).
Remove thermostat (thermostat housing) (2) from coolant
pump.
 Clean
Clean sealing surfaces and remove gasket remnants.
Install
Important: Note
differing designs when replacing the components! Note correct part
and catalogue number!
Attach thermostat (thermostat housing) (2) to coolant pump with
new seal ring (3) – tightening torque 8 Nm / 6 lbf. ft.
Attach coolant hose.
