Battery Change for Key with Central Locking Radio Remote Control  

Important: 

The battery must be changed in less than 3 minutes, or the radio remote control will have to be resynchronised.  

Notice: 

Before delivering the vehicle to the customer, detach the red transport protection sleeve from the mechanical part of the ignition key and insert the radio remote control at this location. This operation is also required for any ignition keys delivered in service.  

6.10.5   Battery Change for Key with Central Locking Radio Remote Control (continued)  

I  Use a screwdriver to prise open the catch between the upper and lower parts. Remove the key fob from the key web.  

II  Use the screwdriver to separate the two halves of the key fob.  

III  Replace battery, noting the polarity.
