Replace folding roof hydraulic cylinder lock - L67

  Remove

Object Number: 10677543 Size: DEFAULT

1.   Place folding top in service position
•   Folding top half open
•   Use special tool BO-47651-200 (1)
•   Secure roof with accompanying tensioner belt (2)

2.   Open pump pressure
•   Break perforation of the bulkhead wall panelling
•   Carefully turn emergency actuation screw (1) to stop using a hex wrench.

3.   Remove center moulded headlining (1)
•   Unclip 10x clips (2)
•   Remove moulded headlining

4.   Detach center hinge panelling - both sides
Note:   Only the left side is shown to simplify the illustration.
•   Detach 3x from clamps

5.   Detach cylinder lock (4)
•   Detach cylinder lock
– Unscrew 2x bolt (2)
– Remove cylinder fastening plate (1)
– Unscrew nut (3)
– Remove 2x hydraulic pipelines (arrows)
Note:   Seal hydraulic lines and cylinder against leaks using suitable aids.

  Install

6.   Attach cylinder lock
•   Attach cylinder
– Attach 2x hydraulic pipelines
– Tighten nut, M10 to 23 Nm or M8 to 17 Nm
Note:   Fix nut with locking compound
– Insert fastening plate
– Tighten 2x bolts 9 Nm
Note:   Screws are microencapsulated and must be replaced! Threads re-cut!
7.   Attach center hinge panelling - both sides
•   Insert into guide
•   Attach 3x in clamps
8.   Install center moulded headlining
•   Insert moulded headlining
•   Clip in 10x clips
9.   Close folding top
•   Remove tensioner belt
•   Remove special tool BO-47651-200
•   Close folding top
10.   Adjust steel cover if needed
•   Check gap
11.   Close pump pressure
•   Tighten the bolt
12.   Check and correct hydraulic pump fill level, function test, test again and correct if necessary. LUREF_1.gif
