Replace folding roof hydraulic cylinder lock -

Remove

1. |
Place folding top in service position
• |
Use special tool BO-47651-200 (1)
|
• |
Secure roof with accompanying tensioner belt (2)
|
|
|
2. |
Open pump pressure
• |
Break perforation of the bulkhead wall panelling
|
• |
Carefully turn emergency actuation screw (1) to stop using a
hex wrench.
|
|
|
|
|
3. |
Remove center moulded headlining (1)

Remove moulded headlining
|
|
|
|
4. |
Detach center hinge panelling - both sides
Note: Only the left
side is shown to simplify the illustration.
|
|
|
5. |
Detach cylinder lock (4)
• |
Detach cylinder lock
– |
Remove cylinder fastening plate (1)
|
– |
Remove 2x hydraulic pipelines (arrows)
Note: Seal hydraulic
lines and cylinder against leaks using suitable aids.

|
|
Install
6. |
Attach cylinder lock
• |
Attach cylinder
– |
Attach 2x hydraulic pipelines
|
– |
Tighten nut, M10 to 23 Nm or M8
to 17 Nm
Note: Fix nut with
locking compound
|
– |
Tighten 2x bolts 9 Nm
Note: Screws are
microencapsulated and must be replaced! Threads re-cut!

7. |
Attach center hinge panelling - both sides
|
8. |
Install center moulded headlining
• |
Insert moulded headlining
|
|
9. |
Close folding top
• |
Remove special tool BO-47651-200
|
|
10. |
Adjust steel cover if needed
|
12. |
Check and correct hydraulic pump fill level, function test,
test again and correct if necessary.
