Magnet in pulling rod of net luggage trunk
lost. |

As of VIN W0L0AHL6795043814 improved parts
have been introduced in production. |
Remedy:
In case of a customer complaint the net luggage trunk has to be
checked. Ensure that the magnet is inside of the pulling rod.
Working Procedure:
- Lift up the roof panels with the press button in the luggage trunk
- Take the net luggage trunk out of the locking device
- Check the left side of pulling rod for magnet presence,
see picture I, 1.
If the magnet is missing in the pulling rod, the net luggage trunk has
to be replaced.
Note:
If the magnet is present also note TSBs 2231, 2276 and 2389 and/or
read out trouble codes with Tech2.
