Replace interior rear view mirror retaining
plate
 Remove

Detach inner rear view mirror from retaining plate

Unclip rain sensor cover

Disconnect wiring harness plug (1)
|
| • |
Compress clamp (2) and pull mirror downwards to remove
|
|
|
|
| 2. |
Clean windscreen in area to be cemented with glass cleaner.
|
| 3. |
Place masking tape around area on windscreen where retaining
plate to be cemented
| • |
Gently sand retaining plate (grain P100) and clean
|
|
Install
| 4. |
Affix retaining plate
| • |
Mix 2-component adhesive (part no. 90 543 242/catalogue no. 15
04 814) in accordance with the instructions and apply to the
retaining plate approx. 1 mm
thick.

Only press the retaining plate lightly onto the windscreen
|
| • |
Fasten retaining plate

I= 20 mm (from edge of moulded
headlining)

Attach interior rear view mirror

Replace mirror - listen for the click
|

Connect wiring harness plug
|

Clip in rain sensor cover
