Electrically actuated outer mirror, replace

  Remove

1.   Detach inner panelling
•   Unclip 3x clips
•   Disconnect wiring harness plug.

2.   Detach outer mirror outer panelling
•   Loosen 4x clips (1) top
•   Release 4x lower clips (2)

3.   Detach mirror face
•   Swivel mirror face of external wing mirror forwards
•   Bring mirror face into top right (left door) or top left position (right door)
•   Carefully prise out mirror face with plastic wedge
•   Remove wiring harness plug for mirror heating (1)
Note:   Only for electrically operated outer mirror

4.   Remove servo motor (1)
•   Disconnect wiring harness plug.
•   Unscrew 3x bolt (arrows)

5.   Detach front door outer mirror
•   Disconnect wiring harness plug.
•   Unscrew 3x bolt
•   Remove outer mirror
Object Number: 3446666 Size: DEFAULT


  Install

6.   Attach front door outer mirror
•   Join outside mirror
•   Tighten 3x bolt
•   Connect wiring harness plug
7.   Install servo motor
•   Tighten 3x bolt
– Connect wiring harness plug
8.   Install mirror face
•   Attach wiring harness plug
Note:   Only for electrically operated outer mirror
•   Position mirror face in wing mirror
•   Engage mirror face in wing mirror
•   Swivel wing mirror back into original position
9.   Attach outer mirror outer panelling
•   Hang up 4x lower clips
•   Loosen 4x clips top
10.   Attach outer mirror inner panelling
•   Connect wiring harness plug
•   Clip in 3x clips
11.   Operational check
