Replace rear quarter panel inner panelling - L08 > < Replace inner window channel seal (front door) - L08

Replace front inner panelling - L08

  Remove

1.   Remove sill inner panelling
•   Unclip 5x clips (1)

2.   Remove load compartment cover
•   Unclip 2x retaining cords from tailgate
•   Unlatch cover from support 2x, side
3.   Remove load compartment carpet

4.   Remove trailer hitch ball head
•   Loosen fastening belt (1)
•   Remove ball head (2)

5.   Remove additional storage space under load compartment carpet
6.   Remove bench seat
•   Unlock 2x brackets (1) front
•   Hang off 2x bench seat from rear bracket
– Push seat simultaneously backwards and upward

7.   Detach rear seat backrest (l)
•   Unscrew 4x bolts (2) at the front
– Remove 3x belt buckles (1)
•   Fold down rear seat backrest (II)
•   Unscrew 4x rear bolts (2)
8.   Remove rear seat backrest
Note:   2nd mechanic required!

9.   Remove upper B-pillar panelling
•   Pull out the plastic rivet (1) from the B-pillar
– Lift off the moulding from the seat with a plastic wedge
•   Unscrew seat belt bolts (3) from B-pillar
– Unclip cap (2)
•   Remove upper B-pillar panelling upwards

10.   Remove rear quarter panel front inner panelling
•   Unscrew lower belt fastening (3)
– Remove lower belt shackle (4)
– Remove belt with striker
– Remove belt striker guide bushing (5) from rear quarter panel front
•   Remove rear quarter panel cover cap (2)
– Unscrew bolt
•   Unscrew bolt (6) from rear seat backrest
•   Unscrew bolt (1) from upper B-pillar
•   Unclip front rear quarter panel
– Unclip 8x clips (7)

  Install

11.   Install rear quarter panel front inner panelling
•   Clip in 8x rear quarter panel clips
•   Tighten bolt on upper B-pillar
•   Tighten bolt to rear seat backrest
•   Tighten lower B-pillar bolt
– Install rear quarter panel cover cap front
– Install belt striker guide bushing to rear quarter panel front
– Install belt with striker
– Install lower belt striker
– Tighten lower belt fastening 35 Nm
12.   Install upper B-pillar inner panelling
•   Guide B-pillar panelling from above in inner panelling guide front of rear quarter panel
•   Clip in upper B-pillar panelling
– Press in expanding bolt
•   Tighten seat belt bolt to B-pillar
– Clip in cover cap
13.   Insert rear seat backrest
Note:   2nd mechanic required!
14.   Install rear seat backrest
•   Guide in and position rear seat backrest with guide pins right and left in rear quarter panel
•   Tighten 4x rear bolts
•   Fold down rear seat backrest
•   Insert 3x belt buckles
– Tighten 4x front bolts
15.   Install bench seat
•   Hang up 2x seats in the rear bracket
– Push seat simultaneously backwards and down
•   Bolt 2x brackets front
16.   Install additional storage space under load compartment carpet
17.   Install trailer hitch ball head
•   Thread belt through eye
•   Insert ball
•   Tighten belt
18.   Install load compartment carpet
19.   Install load compartment cover
•   Engage cover in support 2x, side
•   Clip in 2x retaining cords to tailgate
20.   Install sill inner panelling
•   Clip in 5x clips
