Replace rear seat backrest flap - L67

  Remove

Object Number: 10677546 Size: DEFAULT

1.   Remove luggage compartment mat
•   Remove luggage compartment mat (1)

2.   Detach steel folding roof protective blind (1)
•   Unscrew 2x bolts (arrow)

3.   Detach inner panelling of top rear panel (1)
•   Remove 7x body-bound rivets (2)
•   Detach 2x water drain hoses (arrows)
•   Remove panelling

4.   Move front seat as far forward as possible
5.   Remove bench seat
•   Unclip 2x from guide (2) upwards
•   Remove seat bench (1)

6.   Remove head restraint (1)
•   Unlock 2x head restraints (arrows)
•   Remove head restraints

7.   Detach head restraint guide sleeve
•   Bend standard wire release hook (diameter 1 – 1.5 mm ) for active head restraint guide sleeve as in illustration I
•   Mark insertion depth of 50 – 55 mm
•   Insert release hook opposite the release button of active headrest guide sleeve, release guide sleeve and pull out upwards

8.   Detach central armrest (1)
•   Unclip central armrest bracket (2)
•   Remove central armrest

9.   Detach rear seat backrest
•   Open 2x service flaps (1)
•   Prise out both clamps (2) with tool KM-443-A
Note:   Slightly lift rear seat back as access is tight.
•   Remove 2x from lower guide (3)
•   Close 2x service flaps

10.   Detach servicing flap covering (1)
•   Detach 4x body-bound rivets (arrows)

11.   Detach service hatch flap
•   Detach flap (1) from servicing hatch frame (2)
– Remove 2x bolts (arrows)

  Install

12.   Attach service hatch flap
•   Attach flap to servicing hatch frame
– Attach 2x bolts
13.   Attach servicing hatch flap covering
•   Attach 4x body-bound rivets
14.   Attach rear seat backrest
•   Insert 2x into lower guide
•   Clip in 2x in upper guide
•   Close 2x service flaps
15.   Attach central armrest
•   Insert central armrest
•   Clip central armrest bracket
16.   Push guide sleeve into rear seat backrest until it engages.
17.   Install headrest
•   Engage head restraint (audible click)
18.   Install bench seat
•   Insert seat bench
•   Clip in 2x front in guide
19.   Return front seat to original position
20.   Attach inner panelling of lower rear end panel
•   Insert panelling
•   Install 7x body-bound rivets
•   Attach 2x water drain hose
21.   Attach steel folding roof protective blind
•   Tighten 2x bolts
•   Insert into guide
22.   Install luggage compartment mat
•   Insert luggage compartment mat
