Replace moulded headlining - L35 (with adjustable rear seats)

  Remove

2.   Remove load compartment carpet •   Unscrew 2x plugs (arrows) – Remove load compartment carpet

3.   Detach A-pillar inner panelling - left side •   Unclip panel (1) •   Unclip clip •   Remove inner panelling A-pillar 4.   Detach A-pillar inner panelling - left side •   Unclip panel (1) •   Unclip clip •   Remove inner panelling A-pillar

5.   Detach front seat belt securing panel (1) •   Unclip and remove panel upwards (arrow) 6.   Detach seat belt from front seat •   Unscrew bolt (2)

7.   Detach upper B-pillar inner panelling - left side •   Unclip panel (1) •   Remove lower B-pillar panel in upper area and remove upper B-pillar panel – Unclip 6x clips (2) •   Remove B inner panelling 8.   Detach top B-pillar inner panelling - right side •   Unclip panel (1) •   Remove lower B-pillar panel in upper area and remove upper B-pillar panel – Unclip 6x clips (2) •   Remove B inner panelling

9.   Remove roof frame inner panelling •   Remove roof frame inner panelling – Prise off the panelling from the seat with a plastic wedge – Unclip 3x clips, 2x guides (arrows)

10.   Remove D-pillar inner panelling - right side •   Unclip D-pillar panelling (arrows) – Prise off the panelling from the seat with a plastic wedge – Unclip 5x clip 11.   Remove D-pillar inner panelling - left side •   Unclip D-pillar panelling (arrows) – Prise off the panelling from the seat with a plastic wedge – Unclip 5x clip

12.   Detach lower C-pillar inner panelling - left side •   Unclip 4x clips – Pull out panelling in lower area of the B-pillar cover 13.   Remove lower C-pillar inner panelling - left side •   Unclip 4x clips – Pull out panelling in lower area of the B-pillar cover

15.   Remove upper C-pillar inner panelling - right side •   Unclip panel (arrow) •   Unclip C-pillar panelling •   Unthread belt 16.   Remove upper C-pillar inner panelling - left side •   Unclip panel (arrow) •   Unclip C-pillar panelling •   Unthread belt

17.   Detach sun visor - left side •   Unscrew 2x bolt •   Disconnect wiring harness plug. •   Unclip sun visor from support and remove 18.   Detach sun visor - right side •   Unscrew 2x bolt •   Disconnect wiring harness plug. •   Unclip sun visor from support and remove

19.   Detach sun visor support - right side •   Prise out main bracket wedge and remove main bracket Note:   Spring of main bracket is not secured and may fall down 20.   Detach sun visor support - left side •   Prise out main bracket wedge and remove main bracket Note:   Spring of main bracket is not secured and may fall down

21.   Remove moulded headlining handle - left side •   Open panel (arrow) •   Unscrew 2x bolt 22.   Remove moulded headlining handle -right side •   Open panel (arrow) •   Unscrew 2x bolt 23.   Remove moulded headlining handle - left side •   Open panel (arrow) •   Unscrew 2x bolt 24.   Remove rear moulded headlining handle -right side •   Open panel (arrow) •   Unscrew 2x bolt

27.   Detach sunroof operating unit and interior light •   Disconnect 2x wiring harness plug •   Unscrew 2x bolt

28.   Loosen and remove surrounding moulded headlining Note:   2nd mechanic required. •   Disconnect 2x wiring harness plug Note:   For vehicles with a glass sunroof, unclip in the area of sunroof and protect moulded headlining from kinking
