Replace shock absorbers
Note: Only replace
shock absorbers in pairs. Use shock absorbers from "Aftersales"
relevant to vehicle version and equipment package when replacing
shock absorbers.
When lifting at the jacking points on the vehicle, take care that
all rear axle bolts and the contact points for the centring device
remain accessible.
Remove

Position Hydraulic Jack, KM-904 and
KM-6002-A (1) under rear axle
Note: Ensure that the
vehicle does not lift from the lifting platform attachment
points.

In vehicles with CDC chassis: disconnect proportional valve
wiring harness plug
|
4. |
Detach shock absorbers (2) at both sides of rear axle
|
5. |
Detach shock absorbers from both sides of vehicle underbody
|
|
|
Install
6. |
Detach shock absorbers at both sides of vehicle underbody
|
7. |
Attach shock absorbers to rear axle at both sides
• |
Screw in 2x bolt 130 Nm
|
|
8. |
In vehicles with CDC chassis: connect proportional valve wiring
harness plug
|
9. |
Let down and remove hydraulic jack with KM-904 and KM-6002-A
|
10. |
Fit rear wheels 110 Nm
|
|
