  • Ignition OFF
  • Disconnect wiring harness connector from:
    B85 Sensor - Rotation Rate
  • Ignition ON
  • Measure voltage between:
    B85 Sensor - Rotation Rate
    Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) terminal 4
    &
    Ground

greater than 11 V

Important:

After replacing the following component the new component must be calibrated by using the diagnostic tester:

B85 Sensor - Rotation Rate

For vehicles with ESP, the Steering Angle Sensor and the Yaw Rate Sensor have to be calibrated by using the diagnostic tester after replacing the control unit.

Note:

The replacement of the components must be done in the listed order.

The system must be checked for proper operation after every replacement.
