Parking Brake Lever, Remove and Install
 Remove
| 1. |
Detach cover of diagnostic connection and unclip parking brake
lever bellows
|
| 2. |
Slacken parking brake cable on parking brake lever by
unscrewing adjusting nut
|
| 3. |
Remove central console
|
| 4. |
Disconnect wiring harness plug of handbrake indicator light
switch
|
| 5. |
Disconnect 2x wiring harness plug (2) from airbag control
unit
|
| 6. |
Unclip 2x wiring harness from parking brake lever support
plate
|
| 7. |
Detach adjusting nut, parking brake cable
|
| 8. |
Detach parking brake lever

Remove parking brake lever
|
|
| 9. |
Detach parking brake control indicator switch from parking
brake lever
|
|
|
Install
| 10. |
Attach parking brake control indicator switch to parking brake
lever
|
| 11. |
Attach parking brake lever to vehicle substructure 8 Nm
|
| 12. |
Attach parking brake cable to parking brake lever
|
| 13. |
Connect wiring harness plug of handbrake indicator light
switch
|
| 14. |
Install central console
|
| 15. |
Adjust parking brake lever path 
|
