Crankshaft End Play, Check

Note: Crankshaft attached with crankshaft bearing covers

Inspect

Attach dial gauge MKM-571-B

•	Install in holder on front of the cylinder block

•	Place dial gauge plunger against crankshaft and adjust

Measure longitudinal play of crankshaft

•	Move crankshaft in longitudinal direction

•	Permissible crankshaft end play: 0.100 - 0.202 mm

3.	Remove dial gauge MKM-571-B
