Make bores for adapter KM-412-31

1.   Place engine on workbench
Note:   2 people
•   Support engine on transmission side and oil pan - leave suspended from workshop crane
2.   Remove intake manifold support
•   2 bolts
3.   Detach retaining plate for earth cable from cylinder block
•   2 bolts
– Set retaining plate aside
4.   Fit drilling template KM-6348
•   to thread (3) in cylinder block
Important:   check alignment - guide sleeves (2) centred in respect of webs (4)
– 1 fastening bolt (1)

5.   Set nominal depth of bore
•   Adjust with the aid of the clamping device (1) on the drill bit
– Measurement "X" = 54 mm
– 2 bolts

6.   Drill holes
•   3 off
7.   Detach drilling template KM-6348
•   1 bolt
8.   Cut thread M10x1.5
•   3 off
9.   Clean the thread
•   3 off
