Replace oil pump pressure regulating valve
 Remove

Raise vehicle by its full height
|

Remove lower engine compartment cover (2)

Remove 2x body-bound rivets (3)
|
|
|
|
| 4. |
Remove oil pump pressure regulating valve (arrow)
| • |
Place collecting basin underneath.
|
| • |
Unscrew closure bolt (1)
|
| • |
Remove piston (4), spring (3)
|
|
|
|
| 5. |
Visually check components
| • |
Piston, spring
Note: Check ease of
movement
|
|
Install
| 6. |
Install oil pump pressure regulating valve
| • |
Replace sealing ring
Note: Coat piston and
spring with engine oil
|
| • |
Tighten closure bolt 40 Nm
|
|
| 7. |
Install lower engine compartment cover
| • |
Install 2x body-bound rivets
|
|
| 8. |
Lower vehicle by its full height
|
| 9. |
Check and correct engine oil level
Note: Observe specified
engine oil filling quantity
