  • Ignition OFF
  • Disconnect wiring harness connector from:
    B150 Sensor - Boost Pressure
  • Ignition ON
  • Trouble Code Update

Is the diagnostic trouble code P0651 with status PRESENT stored?
Yes: No:

  • Disconnect wiring harness connector from:
    B22 Sensor - Pedal Position
  • Ignition ON

Check: Short to Voltage of Voltage Supply Circuit
  • Ignition OFF
  • Disconnect wiring harness connector from:
    A84 Control Unit - Engine
    (Wiring Harness Connector XC11 )
    Ignition ON
  • Measure voltage between the following terminals:
    A84 Control Unit - Engine
    Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) terminal 28 (XC11)
    &
    Ground

less than 0.3 V

  • Defective component:
    A84 Control Unit - Engine

Important:

Reset the concerned control unit with the diagnostic tester before replacing it. In order to do that, call up the "RESET" function from the PROGRAMMING menu of the current system on the diagnostic tester.
E002 Result: Short to Ground
  • Short circuit to ground between:
    A84 Control Unit - Engine
    Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) terminal 13 (XC11)
    &
    B150 Sensor - Boost Pressure
    Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) terminal 1
E003 Result: Short to Voltage
  • Short circuit to voltage between:
    A84 Control Unit - Engine
    Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) terminal 13 (XC11)
    &
    B150 Sensor - Boost Pressure
    Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) terminal 1
E004 Result: Short to Ground
  • Short circuit to ground between:
    A84 Control Unit - Engine
    Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) terminal 46 (XC12)
