Diagnostic Trouble Code Storage Condition

Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor Circuit High Voltage

  • Engine running
  • Following trouble codes not stored: P0120
  • Throttle valve opening is less than 19 %
  • Power enrichment not activated
  • Intake manifold absolute pressure is greater than 1032 hPa ( 1.032 bar )
  • Above conditions must be fulfilled for at least 1.9 s .

Replacement Value:

  • The control unit calculates with a replacement characteristic map depending on the engine speed and throttle valve position.

Effect:

  • All adaptations are locked.

26, 45, 63 (XC9)
Remedy:

Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor Circuit Open or Low Voltage

  • Engine speed is greater than 1100 rpm
  • Following trouble codes stored: P0120

  • Above conditions must be fulfilled for at least 3.8 s .

Replacement Value:

  • Engine load signal is greater than 1.0 %

  • Ignition ON
  • Battery voltage is greater than 6 V

    (Short circuit to voltage)
  • Above conditions must be fulfilled for at least 5 s .

Effect:

  • Fuel tank ventilation valve control is locked.
