Replace throttle valve module Z18XER (conversion
from old version to modified version)
 Remove
| 1. |
Removing the throttle valve module (old version)

Compare with the illustration
|

|
| 2. |
Remove engine control unit
|
| 3. |
Remove fuel/air mixture preheating return line
| • |
Disconnect coolant return line (1) from coolant return hose
(3)
|
| • |
Unclip 2x coolant return line (1) from intake manifold
|
|
|
|
| 4. |
Detach tank vent valve (2)
| • |
Disconnect wiring harness connector.
|
| • |
Detach 2x vent hose (1)
|
|
|
|
Install
| 5. |
Install new tank vent valve
| • |
Connect 2x new tank vent hose
|
| • |
Fix wiring harness plug
|
|
| 6. |
Attach new coolant hose (2) to modified throttle valve
module
|
|
|
| 7. |
Install modified throttle valve module
|
| 8. |
Install fuel/air mixture preheating return line
| • |
Clip in 2x to intake manifold
Note: The coolant line
is laid below the engine control unit.

| • |
Connect the coolant return line to the coolant return hose
|
|
| 9. |
Attach the fuel/air mixture preheater supply hose
|
| 10. |
Install engine control unit
|
| 11. |
Check the routes of the coolant lines
Note: Coolant line (1)
and (2)
must sit in clips (arrows)
|
|
|
| 12. |
Fix wiring harness plug
|
| 13. |
Attach engine venting hose
| • |
Connect quick release fitting
|
|
| 14. |
Install air cleaner housing
|
|
