Replace fuel pressure sensor (high pressure)
Note: When working on
the fuel system, cleanliness must be strictly observed as even
small particles of dirt can lead to faults in the engine or fuel
system. The injectors may only be removed with the engine cold and
with unequivocal diagnosis.
Remove

Disconnect battery

Detach earth connection

Warning: Comply with safety
regulations and national legislation.

Release fuel pressure
• |
Unscrew protective cap from test connection
|
|
5. |
Remove fuel pressure sensor (high pressure) (2)
• |
Release and unplug wiring harness plug (1)
|
|
|
|
Install
6. |
Replace sealing ring
Note: Connect KM-6365 such that the seal ring is not damaged
at the thread during assembly.

7. |
Tighten fuel pressure sensor (high pressure) 25 Nm
• |
Connect and lock wiring harness plug
|
|
8. |
Connect battery
• |
Attach earth connection
|
|
Important: Wear protective
goggles and protective gloves.
|
9. |
Fuel System, Check for Leaks
• |
Start engine.
Note: Check fuel system
for escaping fuel.
