Replace charge pressure sensor
 Remove

Remove engine cover (2)

Detach oil filler port closure cap (1)

| • |
Pull off engine cover
Note: Rubber retainers
(3) must remain on engine cover
|

Attach oil filler port closure cap
|
|
|
|
| 3. |
Detach bracket, fuel damping unit (1)
| • |
Unscrew 2x nuts (2)
Note: Tie bracket, fuel
damping unit, with fuel line and damping unit, to bulkhead
|
|
|
|
Important: Do not damage fuel
return line bracket
|
| 4. |
Remove fuel return line
| • |
Unscrew 2x bolts (1)
Note: Note different
bolt lengths
|
| • |
Detach fuel return line from pressure chamber
|
|
|
|
| 5. |
Remove charge pressure sensor (2)
Important: Do not damage
change-over valves of vacuum unit
|
| • |
Release change-over valves of vacuum unit (1) and pull slightly
upwards
|
| • |
Disconnect wiring harness connector.
|
|
|
|
Install
| 6. |
Install charge pressure sensor
Important: Do not damage
change-over valves of vacuum unit
|
| • |
Release change-over valves of vacuum unit and pull slightly
upwards
|
| • |
Insert charge pressure sensor
|
| • |
Fix wiring harness plug
|
| • |
Fasten change-over valves for vacuum unit
|
|
| 7. |
Attach bracket, fuel damping unit
|
| 8. |
Attach fuel return line
| • |
Attach to pressure chamber
|
| • |
Tighten 2x bolts
Note: Note different
bolt lengths
|
|
| 9. |
Install engine cover
| • |
Detach oil filler port closure cap
|
| • |
Attach oil filler port closure cap
|
|
