Replace selector lever position switch (AF22)
 Remove
| 1. |
Remove battery and battery support 
|
|
| 2. |
Push off selector actuation cable (2) from actuation lever

| 3. |
Remove fluid filler tube
|
| 4. |
Disconnect selector lever position switch wiring harness plug
(1)

Open locking shackle in the direction of the arrow
Note: Wiring harness
plug is located on the valve body cover.

| 5. |
Detach actuation lever (2) from selector lever shaft
|
| 6. |
Bend open retaining plate (3) and unscrew nut (4)
|
| 7. |
Remove selector lever position switch
| • |
Release selector lever position switch from selector lever
shaft and transmission
|
|
|
Install
|
| 8. |
Place selector lever position switch onto selector lever
shaft
|
| 9. |
Fasten selector lever position switch
| • |
Attach nut (4) to selector lever shaft with new retaining plate
(3)
|
| • |
Secure nut with retaining plate
|
|
| 10. |
Attach actuation lever (2) to selector lever shaft with new nut
(5)
|
| 11. |
Screw in 2x bolt (1)
Note: Do not tighten
bolts yet
|
| 12. |
Adjust selector lever position switch
|
| 13. |
Tighten 2x bolt 25 Nm
|
|
|
| 14. |
Install fluid filler tube
|
| 15. |
Push selector actuation cable (2) onto actuation lever (3) for
selector lever position switch
|
| 16. |
Connect wiring harness plug (1) for selector lever position
switch
| • |
Lock locking shackle in the direction of the arrow
|
|
|
| 17. |
Adjust selector actuation cable
|
| 18. |
Shift through gears and check gear selection positions
|
| 19. |
Install battery and battery support
|
| 20. |
Program volatile memories
|
|
