Important: Replace
or repair wiring harnesses observing the safety regulations of
electrics/electronics.
Remove
1.
Disconnect battery.
2.
Remove radio
•
Introduce removal bar KM-6067 into
openings (arrows) until it engages
–
Press both removal bars outwards and at the same time withdraw
the radio from the holder.
3.
Disconnect wiring harness plug
•
Disconnect 2x wiring harness plug (1) and (2)
4.
Remove glove compartment
•
Open glove compartment cover
•
Unscrew 4x bolt (1)
•
Disconnect wiring harness plug
•
Remove glove compartment
5.
Remove sill inner panelling
•
Release 5x clip
•
Remove sill inner panelling upward
6.
Lower headlining
L35
L35 (with fixed rear bench seat)
7.
Remove side panel inner panelling
8.
Disconnect roof aerial wiring harness plug (1)
9.
Disconnect aerial cable (1) and the insulate the remaining
ends
10.
Route aerial cable up to behind the glove compartment Note: The old aerial
cable remains in the wiring harness. Note: The new aerial
cable is routed parallel to the existing aerial cable and is
secured with duct tape and cable ties.
11.
Disconnect aerial cable from instrument panel padding wiring
harness
