Replace rear electronics module (REC) L35

Note:   When replacing the control unit, before removing the control unit carry out a "Reset" using TECH2.

  Remove

1.   Disconnect battery.
2.   Remove side panel inner panelling LUREF_1.gif
3.   Remove rear electronics module (REC)
•   Detach 6x cable wiring harness (1) at front
•   Unscrew top nut (2)
•   Unscrew lower bolt (3)
•   Detach rear wiring harness plug
•   Unlock cable tie guide
•   Remove rear electronics module (REC)

  Install

4.   Install rear electronics module (REC)
Note:   The rear electronics module (REC) contains the maximum number of relays and fuses. The rear electronics module will contain surplus relays and fuses.
•   Connect rear wiring harness plug
•   Lock cable tie guide
•   Insert rear electronics module (REC)
•   Tighten lower bolt
•   Tighten top nut
•   Connect 6x wiring harness plug at front
5.   Install side panel interior panelling LUREF_1.gif
6.   Connect battery.
7.   Program volatile memories
Note:   When replacing the control unit, before removing the control unit carry out a "Reset" using TECH2.
