Replace indicator light bulb > < Replace xenon lamp - left side

Replace xenon lamp - right side

Warning:   High voltage! Do not touch components in the xenon dipped beam when the dipped beam is switched on. Ignition and light switch OFF.

1.   Withdraw headlamp fuse
2.   Remove air filter housing
  • Z14XEL, Z14XEP, Z12XEP
  • Z18XE
  • Z16XEP
  • Z20LEL, Z20LEH, Z20LER
  • Z13DTH
  • Z17DTL, Z17DTH
  • Z17DTR, Z17DTJ, A17DTR, A17DTJ
  • Z19DT, Z19DTL
  • Z19DTH
3.   Remove xenon lamp cover
•   Unscrew 3x bolt (1)
4.   Remove xenon lamp igniter
•   To unlock, turn in direction of arrow
– Disconnect wiring harness plug
– Remove igniter

5.   Remove xenon lamp
•   Compress fixing bracket (1) to release
•   Remove xenon lamp

  Install

6.   Fit rear lamp
Note:   Ensure correct installation position
•   Insert xenon lamp
•   Lock fixing bracket
7.   Attach xenon lamp igniter
Note:   The arrow on the sticker (igniter) must be at the bottom on installation.
•   To lock, turn opposite the direction of the arrow
– Insert igniter
– Connect wiring harness plug
8.   Install xenon lamp cover
•   Tighten 3x bolt
9.   Install air filter housing

10.   Insert fuse
