Preliminary Procedures

1. |
Turn the engine off and apply the brake pedal
several times until the brake pedal becomes firm to deplete the
vacuum reserve. |

Loosen the 3 charge air cooler outlet air hose
bolts from the throttle body and the charge air cooler outlet air
hose bracket bolt and hang the hose aside. |

5. |
Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor
wiring harness plug. |

Vacuum Pump Pipe
Procedure
Remove the vacuum pump pipe from the vacuum pump assembly and hang
aside.

Vacuum Pump Assembly Bolt (Qty: 4)
Caution: Refer to
Fastener Caution .
Tighten the 4 NEW vacuum pump assembly bolts in two passes:
Tighten
