Exhaust Pressure Sensor Pipe Replacement (1.3L Diesel LSF)

Removal Procedure

1. Open the hood.
2. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
3. Remove the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement .

4. Remove the exhaust pressure sensor pipe bolt (1) from the throttle body support.
5. Remove the exhaust pressure sensor pipe bolt (3) from the exhaust pressure sensor bracket.
6. Remove the exhaust pressure sensor pipe clamp (4).
7. Remove the exhaust pressure sensor pipe (2).

Installation Procedure

1. Install the exhaust pressure sensor pipe (2).
2. Install the exhaust pressure sensor pipe clamp (4).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution .
3. Install the exhaust pressure sensor pipe bolt (3) to the exhaust pressure sensor bracket and tighten to 9 N·m (80 lb in) .
4. Install the exhaust pressure sensor pipe bolt (1) to the throttle body support and tighten to 9 N·m (80 lb in) .
5. Install the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement .
6. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
7. Close the hood.
