Piston and Connecting Rod Assemble

Install the piston rings. Use
a piston ring plier (1). |
| 2. |
The piston rings must be
ordered as followed: |

Upper compression ring
(1) |
| |
• |
Lower compression ring
(2) |
| 3. |
The piston ring joints must be
displaced 120° to each other. |

Note: Lubricate the
piston pin and the piston bore with engine oil.

Install the connecting rod (3)
to the piston (2). |
|
Note: The marks (4)
on the connecting rod must show in direction to the mark (1) on the
top of the piston.

Install the piston pin
(5). |
|
Note: The 2 piston
pin retainer (6) must be positioned in region of measurement
maximum 30° as shown in the extensional graphic position
(I).

Install the 2 piston pin
retainer (6). |
