Timing Belt Adjustment

1.	Set cylinder 1 to TDC of combustion stroke and fix camshaft sprocket in position using TDC locking bolt (M6x25) (1).

2.	Remove the timing belt. Refer to Timing Belt Removal .

3.	Turn crankshaft evenly in direction of the shortest way, until mark (2) on the crankshaft pulley is in line with mark (1) on the oil pump cover.

4.	Install the timing belt. Refer to Timing Belt Installation .

5.	Remove the TDC locking bolt and turn the camshaft approx. 720° in the direction of rotation of the engine.

6.	Timing check. Refer to Timing Belt Inspection .
