Oil Pump Drive Shaft Gear Installation

1.	Install the oil pump gear (1).

2.	Install the oil pump gear nut (2).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution .

3.	Tighten the oil pump gear nut while holding up the oil pump gear (1) with a socket wrench (2) in the following order :

Tighten the oil pump gear nut to 60 N·m (44 lb ft) .

3.2

Wait for 60 seconds .

3.3

Loosen the oil pump gear nut.

3.4

Tighten the oil pump gear nut again to 60 N·m (44 lb ft) .
