Clutch Actuator Cylinder Front Pipe Replacement (Right Hand Drive - F40 MYJ)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement .
2. Remove brake pressure modulator valve bracket. Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket Replacement .
3. Place basin underneath.
4. Clip clutch actuator cylinder front pipe out of retainers at bulkhead.

5. Open retaining clip (arrow).
6. Disconnect clutch actuator cylinder front pipe (1) from clutch master cylinder.

7. Open retaining clip (2).
8. Disconnect clutch actuator cylinder front pipe (1) from clutch actuator cylinder pipe elbow.
9. Remove clutch actuator cylinder front pipe.

Installation Procedure

1. Install clutch actuator cylinder front pipe.
2. Connect clutch actuator cylinder front pipe (1) to clutch actuator cylinder pipe elbow.
3. Close retaining clip (2).

4. Connect clutch actuator cylinder front pipe (1) to clutch master cylinder.
5. Close retaining clip (arrow).
6. Clip clutch actuator cylinder front pipe into retainers at bulkhead.
7. Install brake pressure modulator valve bracket. Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket Replacement .
8. Bleed hydraulic clutch system. Refer to Hydraulic Clutch System Bleeding .
9. Install battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement .
