Crank Drive, Adjust

Adjustment of the crank drive is necessary if the crank drive has been detached from the operating unit.

Basic adjustment:

Attach crank handle to drive. Pin points forwards in direction of travel.

Turn crank handle clockwise as far as stop.

Turn crank handle back 3 full turns to stop position.

If crank handle cannot be fully turned, replace crank drive.

       1    Pinion

       1a  Straight splines (for crank handle)

       1b  Slanted splines (for cables)

       2    Pin (points forwards)

Crank Drive, Replace

Remove

Remove crank handle and handle recess.

Ensure that the headlining is not damaged by the locating lugs on the handle recess when removing the recess.

Unscrew crank drive from operating unit.

Install

Adjust crank drive - see operation "Crank Drive, Adjust" and install.

Install handle recess and crank handle.
