Front Seat Belt, Remove and Install (Model F
68)
 Remove
| 1. |
Remove upper inner panelling of B-pillar (model F68) 
|
|
| 2. |
Detach guide fitting (1) from seat belt height adjuster
Note: For a clearer
representation, the illustration shows the fastening points of the
front seat belt without inner panelling
|
| 3. |
Remove inner panelling lower B-pillar (model F 68)
|
| 4. |
Install inner sill panelling (model F68)
|
| 5. |
Detach reel retractor (2) from B-pillar
Note: I= attachment
point of reel retractor is accessible from outer B-pillar (3), use
KM-6008-A
|

|
| 6. |
Detach cover (1) from front seat panelling
|
| 7. |
Detach seat belt (2) from front seat frame
|
| 8. |
Detach seat belt from upper belt guidance system (3)
|
| 9. |
I = attachment point of upper belt guidance system (4)
detachable from inside of B-pillar
|
|
Install
| 10. |
Fit attachment point of upper belt guidance system to inside of
B-pillar
|
| 11. |
Attach belt guidance system to upper belt guidance system
|
| 12. |
Attach seat belt to front seat frame
| • |
Tighten bolt 20 Nm
Note: Bolt for seat
belt attachment point to front seat is micro-encapsulated. Bolt is
replaced or inserted with locking compound.

| 13. |
Attach cover, front seat panelling
| • |
Clip cover into position
|
|
| 14. |
Attach reel retractor to B-pillar
| • |
Tighten nut 35 Nm
Note: Attachment point
of reel retractor is accessible from outside of B-pillar, use KM-6008-A .

| 15. |
Install inner sill panelling (model F 68)
|
| 16. |
Install inner panelling, lower B-pillar (model F 68)
|
| 17. |
Attach guide fitting to seat belt height adjuster
|
| 18. |
Install upper B-pillar inner panelling (model F68)
|
|
