Brake Disc - Front Wheel Brake, Remove and Install > < Brake Servo, Check

Brake Calliper – Front Wheel Brake, Remove and Install

  Remove

1.   Detach seal for plenum chamber as far as necessary.
2.   Raise covering flap for brake master cylinder
3.   Detach closure cap and seal brake fluid reservoir with MKM-558-10 .
4.   Remove brake linings of front wheel brake LUREF_1.gif
5.   Detach banjo bolt (1) from brake calliper
•   Collect brake fluid and seal apertures
6.   Detach fastening bolt (2) for upper brake calliper guide pin from retaining frame and remove brake calliper.

  Install

7.   Attach brake calliper to retaining frame with new fastening bolt (4) for upper brake calliper guide pin - tightening torque 27.5 Nm
8.   Install banjo bolt with new seal rings - tightening torque 40 Nm
Note:   Ensure that the brake hose is not twisted.
9.   Install brake linings of front wheel brake LUREF_1.gif
10.   Bleed brake system and check for leaks LUREF_1.gif
11.   Press brake pedal repeatedly
12.   Correct brake fluid level so that it reaches the "MAX" mark.
